Revelation & Explanation

It is quite simple after you know the know-how. What is needed is of course “unlimited” practice to make it perfect.

Revelation & Explanation

OK, there are many comments about this trick. Here is an accepted one that I think closely describes the “tricks” behind. Thanks to luckycool!

Hint: Definitely there is sliding thin glasses at both sides of the tank.

1. Watch his hand at 1:14 to 1:16 when he passes the card to his assistant.
2. One side of the glass is used to lift the signed card up when the thrown cards by the guy fall downwards hence you don’t get to see the signed card coming upwards because falling cards hide this single card.
3. Second side of thin glass is outwards and he puts the tissue cleverly to hide the movement and gets the cards out through the hole within the tank.

OK, this card trick is really red hot! Pretty simple to perform and yet produce stunning climax. Simply put, what this trick does is change your spectator’s selected card from blue to red and vice versa!

OK, here is the explanation, very easy to learn and do but first you need to do some “surgery” on the card.

I really can figure it out at this moment. Here is how the effect goes…

A card selected by a spectator and the spectactor holds a ziplock bag with a Joker sealed inside. The Joker is held between the spectator’s palms and boom! The Joker ‘transforms’ into the card selected previously! Never once is the bag opened. Everything can be handed out for examination.

This trick is one of the basic card change or color change tricks.

Basically, you split the deck into half, one half as a fan and another half for the color change, on Mechanic’s Grip. The color change half is covered with the one hand fan and the card on top will change.

This is a one great, simple and old trick to learn.

The Effect

A signed card, teared a hole off the middle and had a rope inserted right through the hole.

Then, the card is ‘released’ from the rope covered by a cloth. There is no tear and wear of the sides of the card.

What You Need

Well, nothing much. A rope, roughly about 1 meter long, a playing card and a marker/pen for the spectator to sign on the card (optional).
